To lose weight you have to change our eating habits, but also what we drink. One of the primary causes of overweight are sugar-sweetened beverages.

Our body is not “designed” to drink large amounts of liquid calories, for years our primary liquid was water and now drink calories … Imagine the damage that it causes!

Moreover this type of liquid calories have no nutritional value and come from simple sugars that stimulate the body to accumulate fat. Another problem is that liquid calories are “slippery” pass through our digestive system without “full.”

Even fruit juices have this problem because the fruit sugar is separated from the fibers.

The calorie content of some of our favorite drinks can be up to 150 calories. A can of soda contains 40 grams of sugar and 150 calories.

The only liquid calories is offering good milk. It contains protein, calcium and other nutrients, on the other hand requires digestion, which means that it generates a feeling of fullness.

If you really want to lose those extra kilos, you should change all your habits, what you eat and what you drink. Reduce or eliminate all forms of liquid calories, with the exception of skim or low-fat diet.
