Sretch marks come mainly when the skin is stretched to gain weight, either by growth (for girls during development), pregnancy, increases in weight or when the muscles grow as in the case of bodybuilders. Avoiding stretch marks
Although there is no hundred percent sure way to prevent stretch marks there are several recommendations that reduce the risk of developing them. Special care must be taken during pregnancy and growth periods. These are some recommendations:
